“There were a lot of other hard lessons learned in the production of this podcast, but outreach was one of them. And I guess the best place to start there is with our ICP. We wanted to build this podcast for the people we wanted to attract and their CMOs and VPs of marketing, and directors of marketing who know their s* when it comes to strategy.”

The Journey of Learning and Confidence Building

Adam shares his journey of learning and building confidence. He emphasizes the importance of putting yourself out there and gaining experience, which he believes is the key to successful conversations and engagements.

“It’s not an easy journey. Imposter syndrome is real. Everybody suffers from it. I take my daily dose of self-doubt every morning. But, at the end of the day, and I don’t know if this is something that is inherent to everybody or if you have to acquire the skill set, you gotta be curious. For me, there was a fear of failing. And that comes from being in the industry for ten years.”

“I’m excited to finally have conversations with customers and use it as a meeting for brainstorming where it’s like they come on and we talk about something like, ‘Cool, I want to do that now.’ And they go back to their team that we have integrated into their organization, and they do it. So it’s rewarding in that regard.”

Adam shares his journey of leveraging LinkedIn as a powerful marketing tool. He talks about treating his LinkedIn page like a landing page, allowing visitors to get to know you better. He also discusses the importance of connecting with the right people and increasing follower counts.
